A Trip During My Winter Vacation
During winter vacation, my family and I took a trip to Sun-Link-Sea. Because we were going back to my grandmother's house on the second day of the Chinese New Year, my mother decided to stay in Sun-Link-Sea for one night before that day.
When we arrived at Sun-Link-Sea Resort, we took the shuttle bus to the tourist attractions. My parents and I walked along the trail, and we saw the Songlong Rock Waterfall. The waterfall was so magnificent that we were all amazed by it. Then we continued to walk down, and headed for another important tourist spot: Tian Di Yan. The trail was kind of long, and wall of us felt a little tired while walking. But I thought our trip was totally worth it because we saw the beautiful scenery of Sun-Link-Sea. After enjoying the scenery, we went to the garden center station to see those beautiful flowers. There were a lot of plants for sale in the garden center, and flowers that impressed me the most was the tulips. Those tulips all with vibrant colors, were blooming very beautifully. Thus, I took some photos of them. Finally, we returned to our hotel room and drew today's trip to an perfect end.
On the second day, we went to grandmother's house and stayed there for one day. Grandma was very happy to see us, and she prepared delicious meals for us. Also, grandma and aunties gave me red envelopes. We all enjoyed the time we stayed together. On the third day of Chinese New Year, grandma took us to Ming Xin Shuyuan, and it's a historical site in Nantou. We also visited Fahua Temple to pray for good luck. At the entrance of the temple, I took the picture with the sculptures of dragons. What's more, we also burned incense sticks and joss paper–money there. We also had our lunch in the temple, I had a bento and my brother had fried noodles. All of us had a good time there.
The three days trip was very meaningful to me, my family and I really enjoyed spending time together. Three days went by so fast that I thought it's not enough. I wished I could stayed there for more days, however, I had to go back to my house. I think it must be a great memory and stayed in my mind forever.
