A Trip To Penghu
When it comes to summer vacation, most people think of going on a trip with their family or friends. Of course, I am no exception. My family and I went to Penghu this summer vacation, and we stayed there for a few days. For me, it wasn't the first time I took a trip to Penghu. Actually, I have already visited Penghu in August, 2019. But I was still really excited about our trip for this time.
After arriving at Penghu, we went to a scooter rental for scooter renting, then we had lunch at Penghu Central Old Street. There were a lot of vendors along the old street, some of them selling souvenirs. My mom went into a shop which sells all kinds of stamps, it also had stamps carved in the shape of different animals. It was so delicate that I chose the one that looked like a pink owl, then I could have my name on it. I believe it will become a meaningful souvenir. And the same day, we also visited the Yu-Sheng memorial museum in Magong Duxing tenth Village. I saw lots of information about Yu-Sheng Zhang through the museum, and I took some pictures there.
During the trip, we took a boat and went fishing on the sea. It was the first time for me to get the taste of fishing. I was so nervous when I got the fishing equipment because I didn't even know how to use them. Thanks to the captain, he explained to us about how to use the fishing line, and he also told us to be careful of the hook on it. Finally, I hooked a fish with the help of my father. The fish was red, and I took a photo with it as a memory. What's more, we also got a chance to feed the seagulls there. The captain gave us a bowl of fish. Every time seagulls come, I throw the fish into the sky. Soon the seagulls caught it and fled away.
On the last day of our trip, we visited Longmen Military Position in Huxi Township. It's a tourist attraction about the military, and I think it's so cool because some old weapons like guns or artillery are still preserved well in the site. Finally, we finished our four days trip in Penghu. We took the ship back to Taiwan, and all of us had a good time during this trip. It must be a valuable memory of my summer vacation in 2022.
