In the August of this summer, I went camping with my family at New Era Art Resort and Spa. This is my dad’s company trip. Thus, all of the staff members will participate in the camping. On the first day, my family and I went to Sun Moon Lake to take a ferry. We stayed there for a while during the afternoon. In the evening, we gathered with other members at the restaurant in the resort, and we had our dinner there.
The next day, my family and I visited Cona’s Chocolate Castle. This building was built in European style, and it looks quite different from those traditional buildings in Taiwan. The castle was so magnificent that I couldn’t take my eyes off it. There were all kinds of chocolates sold inside the castle, and there were also opportunities for tourists to make handmade chocolates. Many children like this activity very much. Even though we weren’t participating in handmade chocolate, we bought handmade ice cream from the shop there. I chose three different flavors, each of them is: chocolate flavor, kiwi flavor and strawberry flavor. The ice cream was as delicious as I expected, and I absolutely enjoyed it a lot.
After visiting Cona's Chocolate Castle, my family and I leave for the next location. We went to the garden shop where we could make potted Succulents by ourselves. The shop provided us with a huge variety of succulents, and some of them are with beautiful flowers. I chose a small cactus and two succulents, then planted them inside my pot. I also added lots of cute ornaments for the pot, and my favorite one is the yellow chick in the picture. After our work was completed, I felt a great sense of accomplishment. Therefore, I will definitely cherish this little potted plant.
In the evening, all of us had a barbecue together in the resort. There were people playing instruments for us, and the melodious notes of the brass instruments were pleasant to listen to. People were talking to each other while having dinner. The atmosphere was very joyful and harmonious. How I wish time could stop at this moment, but time flies when you’re having fun. Finally, we slept in the tent, and drew our wonderful two-day trip to an end. Although the trip is only two days short, it must become a special memory of my summer vacation.
